One septuplet challenge has seven baby boys and a single mom. Without any cheats, the babes must learn to walk, talk, and use the potty. The children must make friends, learn homework and skills, and do well in school. The teens must have a first kiss, make it to the top of a job, and earn more skills.
Dana Hollister has a nice home and a respectable amount in the bank, so the main challenge is keeping the house clean enough, the babes taken care of, everyone fed, and getting enough sleep. One nanny to come around the clock was my solution. Dana worked on getting rewards points and maintaining a good mood and left most of the baby work to the nannies, though she did help out alot.
I modified the home to remove flowers and trees that would shed leaves. I widened all stairs, enclosed the balcony, added another balcony, and added a couple rooms upstairs and one downstairs.
Dana moved her bedroom and Roger and Steven's upstairs. She moved the television and bookcase into her room, and she moved the refrigerator, table and chairs, and trash upstairs as well. She only had to go downstairs to pay bills and talk to any passers-by. It saved her time going up and downstairs and carrying babes to the refrigerator or changing table and back to bed.
While waiting for the maid to arrive, the house could get fairly messy. However, most of the time, the house was pretty clean as Dana had a nanny coming three times a day as well as a maid.
Eventually, she trained all seven boys in all three skills before they grew up, and then she helped them all with homework.
When the babes grew up, the cribs were swapped for beds, and the kitchen, dining, and living rooms moved back downstairs.
She got them into private school as well.
It took awhile for everyone to get on the school bus in the morning, but it took longer to get everyone and their friends off the school bus.
In addition to being friends with all their brothers, the boys all made friends with the same three kids, their mom, and maybe a nanny or two.
By the time the boys turned to teens, most had two or three skills maxed and had enough points for scholarships in all but body.
At this point, I was pretty bored playing the Hollister bunch. I created a single dad with seven teenage daughters to add to the mix. Of course, as I play without cheats, this house was not as nice as the Hollister starter. With only $20,00 to buy a house, the necessary plumbing and appliances, and a bed for everyone, they had to do without paint or windows for awhile.
I'm thinking this could be the start of a whole new challenge.
